The Company
Kallos Fine Art was founded by artist and designer Jean-Pierre Sharp. Jean-Pierre has a substantial background in the creative industries covering engraving, illustration, art, photography, publishing, graphic design, product design, TV and film, new media, teaching and lecturing. Additionally, the founder also contributes to the Kallos catalogue as a contributing artist under his own name and other artistic pseudonyms.
The Artworks
The artworks displayed on the site are arranged by subject genre; landscape, abstract, etc. to allow for targeted searches. Additionally, selected artists have their own listings and image collections, which can be viewed in isolation from the genre specific catagorisations.
Output Sizes
Print sizes have been carefully chosen to accommodate the average sized domestic home with floor-to-ceiling heights of eight feet or so. Customers requiring prints larger than can be fitted onto an A1 sheet please contact us with your requirements.
Sizes & Price Bands
The price of a print is determined by a simple four band pricing structure A4; A3; A2 and A1. Each image, is printed centrally on the corresponding A-sized sheet leaving a white border surround for mounting and framing. Please note, at this time, all prints are supplied un-mounted for subsequent DIY or professional mounting and framing. Customers requiring a mounting/framing service for any print purchased from the Kallos catalogue please contact us to discuss your requirements.
Substrate
All images available for purchase on the website are printed on 255 gsm Somerset Enhanced Velvet paper. This paper is an archival grade paper that is buffered with calcium carbonate to help combat acidic atack from air polution.
